Cineworld Cinema

Cineworld is a 13 screen cinema located in the Fountainbridge area of Edinburgh. The cinema was formerly known as the UGC and is a short walk from the center of the city and for motorists there’s a spacious multi-level car park.
The cinema shows a variety of mainstream movies with the highest quality sound reproduction on it’s 13 screens.
Cineworld is one of the main venues during the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and has hosted some of cinemas big names and movie premieres.
Sean Connery grew up in the Fountainbridge area and is a regular at Edinburgh International Film Festival events.
The cinema is a few minutes walk from three other cinemas, The Filmhouse and the Odeon on Lothian Road and The Cameo on Tollcross.
